Jeff Ludes realisiert für Subaru die neue Trailseeker-Kampagne – als Kombination aus Stills und Bewegtbild. Gedreht wurde in nur zwei Tagen rund um seine Base in Southern California: zunächst in der Mojave-Wüste, anschließend in den Küstenbergen von Santa Monica.
Ein zentrales Element des Shootings war die aufwendige Arm-Car-Production, bei der Foto und Film parallel entstanden. Am Steuer: DP Jerome Wald III, der die actionreichen Fahraufnahmen in den kurvigen Bergstraßen präzise einfing.
“The highlight of the shoot had to be the arm-car work, of course- spending nearly the whole day in the mountains driving up and down the curves, capturing both stills and video simultaneously, with DP Jerome Wald III at the controls. At the end of the day, the clouds parted enough for a dramatic sunset- a great way to end any shoot day,” so Jeff zu GoSee.
