The AZ Factory collective, established by the late Israeli designer Alber Elbaz, who passed away in 2021, along with the Richemont Group, collaborates with a number of ‘Amigos’, a rotating roster of guest designers, to continue Elbaz’s creative legacy.
The latest AZ FACTORY X ZALANDO collaboration was photographed by Tristan RÖSLER c/o SHOTVIEW ARTISTS MANAGEMENT.
The project marked designer Alber Elbaz’s return to fashion after the end of his successful tenure at Lanvin in 2015. Having previously worked at Guy Laroche, served as creative director at Yves Saint Laurent, and held the same role at Lanvin, AZ Factory was the first time he had the chance to hold the reins himself.
Elbaz passed away in April 2021 at the age of 59 from COVID-19 at the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine near Paris.
Roman GOEBEL c/o SHOTVIEW Artists Management photographed the launch campaign for the MARINE SERRE x ZALANDO collaboration, featuring the two models Maggie Maurer and Momo Ndiaye (styling: Rachel Roedgers).
The designer’s name stands for innovation, blending futurism with environmentally conscious design, an avant-garde aesthetic, and sustainable practices. Marine Serre’s signature crescent moon print and the use of upcycled materials quickly established themselves as iconic symbols synonymous with the brand.
“Not only does the symbol convey an ecological message, it also has deep cultural and spiritual significance: evoking religious and mystical associations while representing reverence for femininity and the moon’s historical connection to the cycles of nature and the divine,” designer Marine Serre says in an interview with ZALANDO.
To solidify their new partnership, they have also announced the launch of an exclusive capsule collection for November.

Chisom ABUBA, also known as WHITE CASTING c/o SHOTVIEW Artists Management, was in charge of casting for a bold and eye-catching editorial titled ‘May There Be Appetite’ by Nicolás Cuenca for OFFICE MAG NYC. The collaboration with stylist Hakan Solak draws inspiration from a phrase Hakan’s mother used to say to his father: “You can get your appetite outside, but dinner is always at home.” The resulting imagery explores the contrast between the allure of the outside world and the comfort and familiarity of home.
For the Berlin-based footwear and accessory house AEYDE, pronounced ‘ay-dee’ and created by designer Luisa Dames, Daniel Roché photographed the latest looks. The motifs were styled by Niki Pauls, with hair on set by Ruby Howes, both artists c/o SHOTVIEW ARTISTS MANAGEMENT.
The Fall/Winter collection features Aeyde classics in new colorways alongside new models, complemented by a larger ‘Cowboy’ capsule collection. AEYDE shoes are now available in 80 countries, and the brand collaborates with 125 wholesale partners worldwide.
“Our mission is to challenge preconceived notions of luxury and the fashion industry by focusing on transparent pricing, sustainable sourcing, slow consumption, and minimal design. We started as a digital-first, D2C brand and continue to apply this mindset today,” says Luisa Dames, founder of AEYDE.
Before founding her own label, Luisa worked for four years as Commercial Lead Apparel Men & Women at ZALANDO.

Dive into a world of mysticism with ‘Neska Neska,’ a film and photo series for Nataal Media by photographer Caroline MACKINTOSH c/o SHOTVIEW Artists Management, featuring music duo Astra Laguna. Costume design was done by Gavin Mikey Collins, who reinterpreted African traditions to bring Caroline’s colorful vision to life.
“I am still so in love with these creations by Gavin Mikey Collins for our project ‘Neska Neska’ for Astra Laguna,” says Caroline Mackintosh, photographer.
Caroline continues: “Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this project and also to everyone who has taken the time to look at it! This project is very close to my heart, and after spending an extended amount of time in the Amazon, we received green ight to record this song by Shipibo maestro Rono Lopez. A year or two later, I found myself quietly dreaming up this dance performance when I was back home on African soil. That’s how this wonderful, otherworldly fusion between Peru and Africa was born.
A big thank you to @bummela, who produced this track with me for our ‘Astra Laguna’ project. Also, a big thank you to @gitagalina, @phoenixchasem, and @caefus_tladi, who danced and ran for hours in the desert to create this magical performance. You all rock🤘.
Thanks to Gavin Mikey Collins for coming up with these wild costumes that are beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Thanks also, of course to my favorite DOP, @nickburtonmoore. I love working with you.
A big thanks also goes to @manemoto for the great editing and @stroobzz, who infused those vibrant colors into the final grade! Many thanks to @doornrivier_conservancy for the permission to film in this surreal land. Looking forward to sharing ‘Neska Neska’ with you ðŸ¤.”
