Michael Schott and his team created the new product video for the LEXUS CT 2014. As DOP, Daniel HARTZ c/o GROSSER FOTOGRAFEN was in charge of production and he put his extensive studio experience to good use to think up photographic perspectives and light for the new CT200h.
The shoot took place in the studio, filmed with the RED EPIC, RAW 4K workflow. The background was added via CGI technology. The composition and merging of the real footage and the rendered 3D background was done in NUKE. Special effects and composition by Schottphotoimaging at DaVinci Resolve Station. Benoît Lamy from TAG Belgium was responsible for the art direction.
SchokoladeTV in Berlin contributed cutting and music support. The team also got to use the MōVI camera stabilising system for the first time, which allows for completely new camera movements and will drastically change the production of moving camera shots in the future. From now on, you can produce films for which you needed the very expensive and heave Steadycam systems in the past.
Michael Schott told GoSee: ‘for future productions on-location, we will use the MōVI with our Multicopters for fully stabilized and free-moving air perspectives. Using the remote control enables precise and controlled camera work. In addition, we offer the MōVI M10/MR system with an operator for hire.’ We present a selection of stunning aerial pictures here.
