In Ellen von Unwerth, the Berlin-based fashion label AUGUSTIN TEBOUL with Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul found the ideal photographer for their Spring/Summer 2016 collection. And ONE HUNDRED BERLIN was the perfect partner to retouch the photos. The production was driven in advance by Anne-Marei Heinrich fort he shoot with model Nico Poturalski, stylist Leonie von Lieres, hair specialist Hauke KRAUSE c/o KULT ARTISTS and make-up by star visagist Gabrielle THEURER c/o BASICS. Editing was done by Aurore de Bettignies, and the Digital Operator was Julia Lückhardt.
The new collection of Iranian-born designer Nobieh Talai presents a combination of Persian tradition and modern design. The photographs for her label NOBI TALAI were shot by Alexx and Anton with model Yulia Kharlaponova, and ONE HUNDRED BERLIN did the final touches in the post production.
About - Nobi Talai A love of textiles and pure, archetypal forms runs like a thread through Berlin-based designer Nobieh Talaei's biography. Born in 1978 in Teheran, Iran, she grew up immersed in traditional handcraft and tailoring skills through her grandmother, a dressmaker of nomadic heritage who made all the neighbors' wedding dresses, Talaei recalls.
At the age of 11, Talaei and her family moved to Berlin. She studied fashion at Esmod in Berlin, and her graduate men's wear collection was one of the two chosen by Premium to be specially exhibited at the Berlin fashion fair in 2003. Later, she gained merchandising experience with a leading international women's wear brand, followed by retail management positions with a luxury designer brand. Then came a short stint in interior design, during which she created timeless yet modern environments starring hand-chosen pieces of Bauhaus, Neue Sachlichkeit and 1950's Scandinavian design.
These different chapters, she notes, all helped lay the conceptual and aesthetic foundations for her company, which she founded in Berlin with a first NOBI TALAI image collection in 2015. Turkish VOGUE booked American top model Lily Aldridge for the title of its July issue and chose ONE HUNDRED BERLIN for post production of the photos by a team consisting of photographer David Bellemere, fashion editor Konca Aykan, hairstylist Edward Lampley, and manicurist Benjamin Puckey.
FLAUNT magazine dedicates a dramatic fashion story to actress Elizabeth Banks in its latest issue. The photographer team and GoSee member HUNTER & GATTI staged the Hunger Games star with a devilish red opponent. The finish in post production was done by ONE HUNDRED BERLIN.
