With “Once, Here”, director Cristian Hunter creates an atmospheric portrait for Massimo Dutti, blurring the boundaries between fashion film, urban portraiture and the Mediterranean way of life. Filmed in Naples, the Italian city becomes the backdrop for a spontaneous and intimate fashion story, with its bustling streets, architecture and distinctly Mediterranean atmosphere.
“We try to preserve moments before they disappear; a gesture and, for an instant, we become part of it.” – Massimo Dutti
Narrated by Paul Hameline and Mia Armstrong, the film unfolds less as a conventional narrative and more as a sequence of fleeting encounters, movements and glances. Between the city's vibrant energy and moments of stillness, a visual story emerges about capturing moments before they disappear.
"The city – imperfect, vibrant, and deeply cinematic – becomes the natural setting for a collection defined by the richness of textures and the fluidity of its silhouettes. Washed linens, natural fabrics, and relaxed silhouettes shape a proposal that explores a new intuitive elegance. Amid the sound of motorbikes, open terraces, and almost invisible gestures, the film becomes a visual reflection on what endures: a particular gesture, fleeting encounters, and the emotional imprint left by certain moments and shared experiences."
