Die Hamburger Repäsentanz KLAUS STIEGEMEYER begrüsst Tom MEDICI, Still Life Fotograf, gebürtig aus Argentinien und Wahl-Hamburger.
Tom Medici was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Raised by architects, he developed an interest for objects at an early age. He studied Art Appraisal at UMSA in Buenos Aires and worked as an antique dealer. He approached photography by taking pictures of antiques up for auction and started studying analog photography in 2007. He is the co-founder of two photography teams focused on advertising, until turning full-time in 2018 to personal art and commercial still life photography.
Now based in Hamburg where he works as a freelancer, he is a member of the Fotofabrique Studio in Gaengeviertel, a teacher at Design Factory International School, and his personal work is all about material, resignification of objects and surrealism.
