The Gösser brand originates from the town of Göss, now part of Leoben, in the Austrian state of Styria. Gösser is brewed by the Göss Brewery, which is part of Brau Union Österreich AG.
Photographer Andrée Josselin was commissioned by Jung von Matt Donau to create the stills campaign for Gösser, which was produced in parallel with the TV commercial. Gösser has been working with the advertising agency Jung von Matt Donau as its lead agency since summer 2024.
The new slogan developed by Jung von Matt Donau, “Good. Better. Together.”, replaces the “Good. Better. Gösser.” slogan used since the 1960s and focuses on what connects people – for example, cross-generational situations where Gösser is experienced as a shared moment. Mini-stories instead of classic beer advertising.
Creative directors Ina Vodivnik and Lea Vukovics, along with Benedikt Nußbaumer, Managing Partner at Jung von Matt Donau, were responsible for the campaign.
Gösser's parent company, Brau Union, has been majority-owned by the Dutch company Heineken International N.V., one of the world's largest brewing groups, since 2003.
