Driven by Creatives : DOP Andreas BERGER for the new IKEA spot by Grimm Gallun Holtappels and Thjnk, Opel ADAM & YOU cinema commercial by Scholz & Friends OPC and director Matthäus BUSSMANN, Hanna Maria HEIDRICH for RADIOTJAENST, new entry Johnata

As the DOP, Andreas BERGER was in charge of the look of the new IKEA commercial spot entitled ‘New Beginnings’. The crashing commercial was created by Hamburg agencies Grimm Gallun Holtappels and Thjnk in collaboration with director Alison Maclean (‘Sex and the City’, ‘The Tudors’). Florian Grimm, Luca Grelli and Bettina Olf headed the creation.

Ellen Staudenmayer, Marketing Manager Deputy at Ikea comments on the 25 second spot, ‘life is full of changes. IKEA supports its customers in making these changes. From transforming a couple’s home into a single’s space in a fast fired approach, to adding some spring freshness into the home, our video shows that it is easy to make changes at the fast pace everyday life often demands’.

In addition to working as a Director of Photography for commercials for clients including Honda, Audi, Motorola and Nissan, Andreas BERGER has also been the DOP for feature films such as ‘Anatomy2’ and ‘Vincent will Meer’. More information is available from DBC.

Scholz & Friends OPC with Creative Director Markus Daubenbüchel commissioned the new OPEL cinema spot ADAM & YOU. Matthäus BUSSMANN c/o DBC was the director and Ekkehart POLLACK was the DOP.

Tomás Caetano, Director Brand Marketing Opel/Vauxhall: ‘the Adam campaign definitely has its finger on the pulse. The Adam enables every buyer to bring his or her own personal tastes to life. We show this in the advert and are certain that it is effective. And that is the only objective of good advertising.’

Hanna Maria HEIDRICH directed the ‘Something is about to happen’ commercial spot for Swedish client RADIOTJAENST, which we are also pleased to present here on GoSee.

Paris based director Johnatan BRODA is a new entry at Esther Kurle / DRIVEN BY CREATIVES. As an appetiser, GoSee presents his latest film project ‘Objets Nomades’ for LOUIS VUITTON – more is available direct from DBC.
