Alex loves stories. The son of Afghan-Czech doctors was inspired early in his life by the magic of gangster movies and decided to become a filmmaker. He started working at film productions in Munich and L.A. and subsequently enrolled at the Filmacademy Baden-Württemberg, Germany, to study directing. In 2009, Alex deepened his work with actors at the renowned Drama Centre/Central Saint Martin’s College in London. His commercials were awarded at the First Steps Award, the Art Directors Club and The Young Director Award in Cannes. His shorts were featured nationally and internationally at the Saatchi & Saatchi New German Directors Showcase, the New York International Film Festival and the Los Angeles International Film Festival. Alex is a true story-teller and loves working with actors. His films stand for visually compelling stories with emotional depth. VICIOUS DOGS was his first feature film. A thriller made in cooperation with the major German TV station Pro7/Sat 1 and the Oscar-winning production company Wiedemann & Berg. Living in Berlin, Alex is currently shooting commercials and working on several projects, including his next feature film: a sci-fi thriller.

The exciting content: A woman found dead just outside a small village at the north-western edge of the Swabian Jura confronts veterinary pharmacologist Sarah and hunter Wolfgang with their past. While exploring the reasons for the mysterious death, they must learn that the facade of the idyllic village is not what it seems to be. When Sarah encounters "The Hum" phenomenon from the depths of the forest, she herself is all of a sudden in the line of fire, and the tension between unspoiled nature and its exploitation...
