Former footballer Mehmet Scholl jokingly poses the question ‘Who does something like that?’ in the DACIA annual campaign. He is referring to driving an ‘anti status’ car on the status obsessed golf course – the DACIA DUSTER. The SUV is significantly cheaper than its competitors and attracted almost 20,000 buyers in Germany in 2012. The times of proudly listing your property aka my house, my yacht, my car… are over. Welcome generation ‘à la carte’.
The director was Andreas HOFFMANN c/o DBC - DRIVEN BY CREATIVES and Nordpol, Hamburg, who have overseen the Renault daughter’s account for many years, developed and supervised the campaign. The commercial consequently plays with the ‘anti status’ strategy. Renault marketing director Patrick Fourniol on the campaign: ‘Dacia delivers a confident statement for the brand that has been honoured as the most consistent value brand on the German automobile market in the last three years.’
Other TV commercial spots for the launch of the Dacia Dokker and the Dacia Sandero MCV will be shown during the course of the year. Mehmet Scholl advertised the Van Lodg for the first time in 2012 – coinciding with the European championship. The spot is a candidate for the 2013 Client Award, which will be awarded on 7 May 2013.
Matthaeus BUSSMANN and DOP Sebastian WINTERO, both c/o DBC - DRIVEN BY CREATIVES, are responsible for the refreshing and unusual image commercial for illustration loving brand RED BULL. From neon to fog and night shots to fast steps, close-ups and hypnotic music with lowered voice – it’s all in there. 70 seconds that feature many Red Bull artists and that lead us to the streets, under water, into a garage and finally into the sunrise. There is so much to see that you can watch it over and over without getting bored.
And last but not least two humorous commercial spots for German health insurance company IKK Klassik. Tim LOEHR c/o DBC - DRIVEN BY CREATIVES directed both ‘Fernsehabend’ (TV night) and ‘Chemie’ (chemistry). Enjoy!

Esther Kurle, born in 1973 and mother of one child is currently living in Berlin. Before she founded Trinity Agency in Germany, she worked as a producer for several years.
Since 2006 Esther is the owner of Esther Kurle Management.

Bernadette Graf was born in 1976 and is living in Munich with her family.
She has a diploma in American Studies and 6 years of experience as a sales rep and project manager @ gap films in Munich under her belt, before she founded Bernadette Graf Management in 2008.
BASE PRAGUE BY NICK AND PAVLINA SAWARD
Nick Saward was born in 1961. He worked in the UK as a production manager and then 15 years as a producer before moving to Prague in 2002 to produce for Stillking Films. 7 years later he founded Saward Management. Nick is living in Prague with his two children and his wife Pavlina Saward (born Prikrylova) who serves as the creative head of the DBC base in Prague.
Pavlina worked as a Production Manager on more than 130 commercials in the last 10 years for Stillking Films in Prague. Prior to that she worked on 19 movies in different production positions and production companies for 15 years. Pavlina joined Esther Kurle Management in January 2009 along with Nick to work as an agent for directors and DOP`s.
BASE HAMBURG BY KLEMENS KEMPKES
Klemens Kempkes is based in Hamburg. He looks back on more than 20 years of experience working in the film industry being a set manager, producer, production manager and agency producer. In 1999 he founded Good Fellows and joined the Driven By Creatives network in 2010.
BASE MILAN BY ANTONELLA PERILLO
Antonella Perillo is currently living in Milan. She has 30 years of experience in the Entertainment industry as Agent, Casting Director and PA. She got to travel all around the world as a PA for Simply Red. After she took a break to become the mother of two wonderful children, she founded ABC Casting in Milan and became part of the Gallagher Casting Network and Rolf Scheider Casting Company in Paris-Berlin-Hamburg. She has done casting for world-renowned filmmakers like Zack Snyder, Tony Kaye and many others. In 2003, she started ABC & Director's Agency, a film directors agency that works directly with production companies and advertising agencies.
