Tobias SCHULT c/o EMEIS DEUBEL, once again had the pleasure of working with comedian Anke Engelke. This time, he photographed the key visual for the online hit series "Boah, Bahn!"
"Boah, Bahn!" is the first fictional web series by Deutsche Bahn about Deutsche Bahn. Short episodes humorously and with a wink tell stories from everyday life on the trains. The new web series has just gone live on the DB YouTube channel. The series will also be available on DB's Instagram and TikTok channels.
In the series, train manager Tina (played by Anke Engelke), together with her team—train attendant Katy (Chenoa North-Harder), Lukas (Yannik Heckmann), and bistro steward Serdar (Mücahit Altun)—manages the sometimes chaotic daily routine on the ICE.
"We are very excited about this web series with Anke Engelke in the lead role. 'Boah, Bahn!'" "This is a humorous love letter to the employees of Deutsche Bahn. It speaks to the hearts of so many of our passengers. With their dedicated and passionate work, our employees are wonderful hosts – despite the often challenging circumstances! The series expresses our deep appreciation for them!" Dr. Michael Peterson, DB Board Member for Long-Distance Passenger Transport.
"It was amazing that I was able to get a glimpse into the heart of Deutsche Bahn through both the internship and the filming. I've rarely experienced such a fantastic adventure at work: filming with the cast, crew, and extras on moving trains – a challenge and a whole lot of fun at the same time. Thank you, Universe, for a top-notch team and the tremendous trust shown by everyone involved." Anke Engelke, actress.
Anke Engelke (real name: Anke Christina Fischer; * December 21, 1965 in Montreal, Canada) is a German comedian, actress, entertainer, singer, voice actress, television presenter, resident of Cologne – and, last but not least, a national favorite.
