German actress Florence Kasumba portrays fashion director Miranda Priestly in the German premiere of "The Devil Wears Prada – The Musical." The production celebrates its German premiere at the Stage Theater Neue Flora in Hamburg.
The promotional campaign featuring Florence was photographed by Morris Mac Matzen, with hair and makeup specialist Nadine Bauer by his side.
The musical's composer, Elton John, played a key role in the casting. He specifically chose Florence Kasumba and, according to Radio RSG, emphasized in a statement that she possesses the necessary authority, intelligence, charisma, and style to immediately dominate the stage.
