Back to the 80ies! The animated Easter campaign including an online game for telecom service provider BOB was realized by Friendly Fire on commission for Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann/Vienna – that's the way the bunny bounces

Those who spent hours in arcades playing video games like Space Invaders, Donkey Kong or Pac Man will remember this special atmosphere fed by 8-bit music and huge gaming machines.

"For bob – an Austrian telecommunications services provider – we brought these memories back. Right before Easter our logic hero – a rabbit – conquers the well designed 80s retro stage, overcomes several obstacles, collects valuable items and finally reveals the latest bob-offer – that’s how the TV spot works. In order to bring this gaming experience of yesteryear to life, we also developed a game based on the campaign´s style, thus we created first degree experiences and a very high level of involvement," Klaus Fekesa from the Vienna-based agency Friendly Fire tells GoSee. So hit the keyboard and happy Easter egg hunting.

The campaign was spread through all media channels (TV, print, info screen, web and radio). On top, the game was linked to a competition on the client´s website (agency: Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann, animation/direction: Friendly Fire, game development: Miguel Marn, music/SFX: Soundfeiler).
