GoSee new entry FRIENDLY FIRE from Vienna realized computer-generated image concepts. 3D/2D animations, visual effects, motion graphics, illustrations and character design form the basis of their creative work. Since 2004, Friendly Fire has realized projects in the areas of art (Biennale 2017/projection for artist Susanne Stemmer, Bavarian National Opera/facade projection, Ars Electronica in Linz/visuals for Klangwolke, just to name a few) and advertising (Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann/Vienna, Young & Rubicam/Vienna, Publicis Paris, Bravo Shanghai, Publicis Modem/New York, Ogilvy/Düsseldorf, just to name a few) in Vienna and abroad. For their 10th anniversary, they present their latest showreel and several projects here on GoSee.
For AKRAPOVIC, a leading manufacturer of muffler systems from Slovenia, FRIENDLY FIRE realized an experimental trade fair video featuring dust particles filmed on a bass membrane which were made vibrate using high frequency sound impulses. Completed by means of computer generated particle simulations and the original sound of a Lamborghini Gallard with an Akrapovic high-performance muffler system, the film titled The Sound of Speed ensured a trade fair appearance that packed quite a wallop.
For many years, FRIENDLY FIRE has realized demo videos with Nestlé CH for the innovative product range NESCAFÉ DOLCE GUSTO for global use at the POS and online.
That RED BULL manufactures and distributes energy drinks with unparalleled success worldwide is a commonly known fact. With the product range Red Bull Energy Wear, the beverage company is going in a new direction. The Energy Recovery System from Taurex® increases physical and mental performance – even while you sleep. It could have helped qualification of the Austrian national soccer team for the World Cup not become such an unsurmountable obstacle, but that's another story. Together with 2D artist Al Gaivoto – an old Disney master – FRIENDLY FIRE realized 3 spots with a classic Red Bull look for the POS.
In the style of a music video, FRIENDLY FIRE staged the brand VEGAVITA which belongs to the company REWE. Under the direction of Toni Weiss/Little Lights Studio, several species endangered by the butcher raise awareness for vegan alternatives to eating meat. The video is among the most viewed in Austria.
For the Biennale 2017, FRIENDLY FIRE supported artist and GoSee MEMBER SUSANNE STEMMER on a projection on the facade of the Palazzo Mora which received much attention. In post production, the material filmed under water was edited and prepared for projection.
