Philipp Rathmer is part of this year's ARLES OFF group exhibition, WORLDS IN VIEW, which takes place in Arles from July 6 to 12. On GoSee, we're showing you a preview of his featured work.
The exhibition is part of Arles OFF, the alternative program to the renowned Les Rencontres d'Arles photography festival, and is being held at the Galerie Les Murs Blancs.
"Worlds in View" is the official theme of the entire main Rencontres d'Arles 2026 festival. It is the English translation of the French title "Des mondes à relire". ProfiFoto magazine deliberately chose this official theme for its international group exhibition within the Arles OFF program.
Philipp Rathmer is one of the participating photographers in this group exhibition at the Galerie Les Murs Blancs. The title represents the entire overarching festival program and not just the individual works on display. A total of 40 international photographic artists were selected through a worldwide open call. Philipp Rathmer is one of the featured artists.
The exhibited camera-based works explore social realities, identities, collective memory, and the profound social changes of our time. All works are presented as high-end prints by WhiteWall on Hahnemühle artist paper.
Thomas Gerwers, editor-in-chief of ProfiFoto, is leading the project. He conceived the exhibition as an open forum for diverse, contemporary perspectives.
Photographer Philipp Rathmer is represented by the Hamburg-based agency UPFRONT Photo & Film GmbH.
