Midnattsloppet (Swedish for Midnight Run) is a running competition organized in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, Sweden, as well as in Helsinki, Finland, by Midnattsloppet Nordic AB, a subsidiary of Hammarby IF. The first Midnattsloppet was held in Södermalm, Stockholm, in 1982, and the run has been held annually ever since. The length of the run varied until 1995, when it was set at ten kilometers.
