We quote : “Cross Sportswear was founded in 1986 in Gothenburg, Sweden, by two passionate golfers who were frustrated that there wasn’t any water resistant rainwear that gave them full freedom of movement on the golf course.
Their vision was to develop a technology enabling rainwear that breathes, is elastic and, at the same time, able to meet the demands of Sweden’s harsh climate. Midnattsloppet (Swedish for Midnight Run) is a running competition organized in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö, Sweden, as well as in Helsinki, Finland, by Midnattsloppet Nordic AB, a subsidiary of Hammarby IF. The first Midnattsloppet was held in Södermalm, Stockholm, in 1982, and the run has been held annually ever since. The length of the run varied until 1995, when it was set at ten kilometers.
