ANDREA HEBERGER : AUDI.se Winter 2021 campaign, KAPS SPORT, HORNBACH, TED BAKER, ELLE Hungary, and also introducing Islasproducciones plus personal work

Anton ENERLÖV c/o ANDREA HEBERGER photographed the AUDI.se Winter 2021 campaign in the deep snow of Northern Sweden for AUDI Sverige; production: SQNC, retouch: Petter Olsson.

The sporty editorial for KAPS SPORT, the sport and fashion house with more than 10,000 square meters of sport and fashion on four stories, including tennis, badminton and squash courts in Oberbiel – were all photographed by Simone SCHNEIDER c/o ANDREA HEBERGER. The focus is on sport fashion by socially active and uber-successful outdoor label PATAGONIA.

Patagonia, Inc. is a manufacturer of outdoor clothing based in Ventura, California, founded in 1973 by Yvon Chouinard, which is also quite active politically. It sued the Trump administration in 2017 in order to protect national monuments. In 2020, Patagonia started a campaign against American politicians who denied the climate crisis in public. Sewn into the labels of shorts to do so was the inscription ‘Vote The Assholes Out’. Patagonia didn’t focus its protest on a certain party but went up against all politicians who deny the climate crisis, ignore the science behind it or have profited from the oil and gas industry and probably continue to do so.

And in case you’ve been wondering : Of course, the school team from Gugulethu, a suburb of Cape Town in South Africa, won against the model! Production on location came from EPISODE MEDIA. GoSee : eu.patagonia.com & sporthaus-kaps.de

With shovels, picks and chainsaws: Each year without fail, 60 volunteers in Swedish Jukkasjärvi build a new hotel made out of ice. The construction material: 30,000 cubic meters of water from the Torne River, frozen into huge blocks of ice. On a visit to what is perhaps Sweden’s coldest construction site, photographer and videographer Joachim LUNDGREEN c/o ANDREA HEBERGER filmed this reportage video for HORNBACH.

ICEHOTEL on its mission : “The mission of Icehotel Group is to create life-enriching experiences. Momentary stories and meetings that become keepsakes to remember and share forever. When we started out in 1989, the small art gallery grew to become the kind of hotel the world had never seen before. It was the start of a journey which has brought the world to Torne River, and Torne River to the world. Today, 30 years later, we are fortunate to do this 365 days of the year over two integrated focus areas: Icehotel – the destination with a hotel made of ice and snow and the Icehotel Creative Experience with ice bars, events, and products around the globe.” GoSee : icehotel.com

‘Love a Life Less Ordinary’ – Cara JOHNSON c/o ANDREA HEBERGER photographs a floral editorial for TED BAKER, London.

Tanja TREMEL c/o ANDREA HEBERGER, home away from home in Berlin, photographed a retro spread for ELLE Hungary at Berlin’s Hotel Pension Funk. We quote the hotel located near the famous high street Ku’Damm : “Awaiting you at our guest house is the joie de vivre of the roaring twenties in Berlin. The family hotel nestled in the bel étage of a historic building from the Wilhelminian period is at the personal service of its guests, offering a unique soulful ambiance off the beaten track of anonymous hotel chains – with every comfort imaginable.” GoSee : hotel-pensionfunk.de

About ANDREA HEBERGER

Can you imagine the smell of a bakery? Fresh, warm bread filling every room. That is the world I grew up in, my parents' bakery in Nuremberg, where I was born in 1960. Before I found my way into advertising, life took me through interior design and organic farming. I founded one of the first certified organic sheep dairies in Franconia. I have never been afraid of a completely new beginning.

In 1990, I arrived in the advertising photography market and never left. For nearly three decades I ran a classical representation agency, coordinated thousands of productions worldwide and built long-term relationships between photographers and clients across the international B2B landscape.

Then, at the end of 2017, I almost stopped.

After 27 years, I was close to burnout. And then, in that stillness, something became clear: the love of photography was still there. That signal was enough.

Since 2018, I have been doing what I was always meant to do. I work with a small, carefully selected group of photographers and visual artists as their strategic visibility partner and mentor. No commissions, no cold calls on their behalf, just consistent, curated presence in the B2B advertising market and honest guidance from someone who knows this industry from the inside out.

Over 32 years, I have lived through two revolutions in this business. The arrival of digital photography changed everything, and I welcomed it as liberation. Now artificial intelligence is reshaping our market with the same force, and I feel the same curiosity I felt back then. I help the photographers I work with use these developments strategically, without losing what makes their work irreplaceable: their visual signature, their creative authorship.

What I offer is not generated. It is lived.
