The motifs spanning generations presented here were photographed by Alex TELFER c/o SEVERIN WENDELER at locations in and around Rome for Italian financial service provider BANCOMAT and Milan-based agency VMLY&R.
BANCOMAT is an interbank network used widely across Italy for cash withdrawals. It was first introduced in 1983 for use at ATMs. The network has 561 members with a total of around 46,000 cashpoints. It is owned by Rome-based Bancomat S.p.A., and its cards are issued by Italian banks. The service is provided exclusively in Italy where the term Bancomat has meanwhile become a synonym for ATM.
