“Our Agent Molly & Co family has been expanded by two new photographers! We proudly welcome Carl-Johan Paulin and Patrik Sehlstedt – OGs in the business with vast experience and keen eyes for creativity within their respective genres. We have put together a selection of their work along with new material from our photographers and stylists. Take a look!”
AGENT MOLLY & CO now represents Patrik SEHLSTEDT. The fashion and portrait photographer is also Co-Editor-in-Chief of international INTERMISSION MAGAZINE.
“Your Opinion is Important to Us’ is the name of the new impressive work by Erik JOHANSSON c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO. The creative loves the surreal and manages to captivate people from all corners of the globe with his bizarre motifs.
Erik tells us about his work : Who listens? Really listens? So much to be heard, so much to be said. Photographed out in the open with the stairs and people there, the funnel is about 1/4th of the size you see there and shot on location, and scaled up. The ear is a realistic, natural size silicone mold I ordered online and shot in my studio with matching light and perspective.”
Also new is the work ‘A Marvel of Engineering’. Erik tells us : The idea of an impossible bridge has been following me for a long time, and I’ve already done a few variations of impossible bridges. This is however the first time I have managed to integrate them into an environment.”
Plus, his works were just on display in China, at the Swedish Institute in Paris (GoSee reported) and are still on show as part of the Festival La Gacilly-Baden. “At the moment, there is an outdoor exhibition of my work in Baden, Austria, just outside of Vienna, and it is still open through 16 October! Come have a look and also enjoy the works of many other photographers at the photography festival La Gacilly Baden. Big thanks to the team in La Gacilly and at La Gacilly Baden as well as everyone who has made this possible!”
“It’s spicy, it’s sour, savory, and usually full of umami. Asian food in all of its many facets is a trend that is making its way more and more into Swedish kitchens – so what could be more fitting than a cookbook full of Asian recipes… What we have created is not a mere cookbook, but a guide through the world of Asian cuisine, from China to Thailand, Japan and Korea.” Filip Poon tells us about his cookbook ‘Asian Favorites’, published by Bonnier Fakta, Sweden’s leading publishing company for illustrated books, with photos by Matilda LINDEBLAD c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO.
