"An unusually playful identity for fin-tech brand Tink". Design agency Kurppa Hosk, which just opened a New York office besides its headquarters in Stockholm, commissioned illustrator Martin NICOLAUSSON c/o AGENT MOLLY & CO with the visual language full of imagination for their client TINK.
"With its millennial pink, cheeky name, playful type and cute illustration style, Stockholm-based agency Kurppa Hosk’s designs for fin-tech company Tink take a deliberate stance against the po-faced seriousness of what we might usually associate with financial management. Working with the in-house team at Tink, also based in Stockholm, Kurppa Hosk developed a new visual identity and strategy that aims to bring a little refreshment to a realm the agency describes as often viewed as “something unattractive, boring, time consuming and far too complex.." More info on the project via Kurppa Hosk.
Plus, the illustrator conjured up fresh looks for CAFE MAGAZINE. We have an example for you, and more work is available via GoSee and AGENTMOLLY & CO.
Martin Nicolausson believes in igniting curious thought whenever and wherever he can. Drawing as much inspiration from the past as from the future, his work is a combination of digital and analogue with equal amounts of nostalgia and bold vision. This work has been described as naturally and artificially flavored, and Martin wouldn’t have it any other way. Recognized as an ADC Young Guns winner in 2010, Martin counts Absolut Vodka, The Economist, The New York Times and MTV among his clients. He's been featured in numerous publications and has exhibited worldwide.
