This year’s VOLVO ART Session in Zurich launched on 15 May, with the unveiling of a large-scale immersive 3D installation at an invite-only evening event. Erik JOHANSSON created the installation and was part of the ‘Car Exhibition’ at Bahnhofshalle and didn’t just cause some stunned faces on the opening evening. The Berlin based photographer and retouch artist combines and layers photographs on his computer so as to create optical illusions. His surreal scenes are fantastical and realistic at the same time. He claims to capture ideas rather than moments.
Over the next four days international urban art artists will be reworking a VOLVO XC90 into their own vision in front of a live audience. A high-end photo camera captured the creation of the 3D art in time lapse, by taking picture every ten seconds. To start off all artworks were accessible and visitors could take snaps of the artists’ works and have their photograph taken professionally. Additional photos of the opening, the live actions and videos of the artists are available from volvoartsession.com.

RESTAURANG AG is located on Kungsholmen Island in a former silver factory. Established in 2011, the kitchen specialises in meat, which you can inspect as soon as you enter. Food photographer Charlie DREVSTAM created artificial close-ups, which remind us more of a petting zoo than a restaurant menu. The photographs were presented as part of an exhibition in the restaurant. For more information on the restaurant visit www.restaurangag.se and view more of Charlie’s work in his GoSee PORTFOLIO or through AGENT MOLLY.
It’s official, the best chef in Europe is a Swede. At this year’s Bocuse d’Or Europe from 7 – 8 May 2014 in Stockholm he will show once more that good food and Sweden go hand in hand. AGENT MOLLY & CO is delighted to also welcome new artist: "Jonna Fransson is fantastic at illustrating nature and animals, from our Swedish fauna to more exotic motives. In her campaign for the music festival Way Out West you can see almost like extra-terrestrial jellyfish, done in a technique were she works with hand-drawn objects retouched in the computer. She has the ability to give a feeling of 3D, without losing the hand-drawn expression which makes her special and unique!" ... GoSee presents a selection of her work – view more of her artwork direct through the agency.
