GLOSS IT. SIP IT. LOVE IT.... Renowned beauty photographer Malorie Shmyr c/o BALLSAAL shot the latest campaign for natural cosmetics brand UND GRETEL – a vibrant fusion of 70s-inspired glamour, radiant mood, and flawless shine.
At the heart of the shoot: two glowing models showcasing the HIGH-SHINE PERFECTION lipsticks in a delicate pastel pink shade, complete with a glossy finish and a hint of retro flair. The look is fresh, polished, and glassy, delivering a transparent sheen that beautifully complements a natural, everyday glow.
The visual concept centered on a modern aesthetic infused with a subtle sweetness and sophistication. The lipstick’s cool-toned pink adds a touch of softness, while the high-shine finish reflects light for an almost cinematic radiance. Art direction was led by Katharina Mauer, Head of Creation and Content Production at UND GRETEL.
Canadian-born Malorie Shmyr is internationally recognized for her backstage beauty photography at fashion weeks in New York, London, Milan, and Paris. Since 2017, she has captured the backstage artistry of VAL GARLAND (L’Oréal Paris), MAYBELLINE New York, M·A·C Cosmetics, and Lucy Bridge, shooting for shows by Vivienne Westwood, Mugler, Dries Van Noten, Balmain, and Dior.
