Founders Gregor Gmür and Valentin Brandstetter met in Dublin, where they were both working at Google at the time. On a vacation together at a luxury resort in the Alps, the two experienced the indescribable feeling of luxury bedding. The idea for ROYFORT – an abbreviation for Royal Comfort – was born.
