The current projects from STAUD STUDIOS range from the AMG SLS GT3 campaign motif to the ASTON MARTIN DB9 catalogue images and the shoot of the INFINITI Black & White special edition model to exclusive portraits or proud ‘agency knights’.
MERCEDES AMG SLS GT3 – the name really sounds like a spaceship. In fact it’s a customer sport rocket from Affalterbach that is one of the most successful GT3 vehicles of 2012. The reason for a special edition launch is not the latest success, but the 45th anniversary of AMG.
STAUD STUDIOS, under photographer Patrick Staud’s creative lead, had lots of fun shooting the car that is any automobile fanatics dream. They chose the prestigious curves of Monte Carlo as the location and the pictures tell more than a thousand words. STAUD STUDIOS was also in charge of production and post-production.
There’s no dream car more appropriate for Mallorca’s flair than the DB9 by ASTON MARTIN. STAUD STUDIOS carried out the shoot in the Mediterranean Island’s unique light at the new yacht harbour Port Adriano – the exclusive production took an entire week to complete and will be the only one of its kind.
They were the first photo team to receive a license to shoot at Mallorca’s most beautiful location: Port Adriano yacht harbour, designed by Philippe Starck, which has fast become the new Mediterranean hotspot. There they were able to snap the Coupé and the Volante during sunrise and in the evenings. And Mallorca has even more to offer – speedy mountain paths, stunning luxurious villas, light, sun and the see, an Eldorado for automobile photography.
The creatives from TBWA Paris quickly decided that the Black & White special edition model had to be reduced to its essence. The images capture the clear lines of the INFINITI FX, a model by Japanese car manufacturer Nissan’s luxury brand, appearing from the depth of the night. A concept that fits the light loving STAUD STUDIOS team like a glove. Seasoned expert Ralf Trumpp was in charge of the photographs.
The knights of HOCHBURG, an advertising agency with head office in Stuttgart’s city centre, ‘rode’ to STAUD STUDIOS to be snapped by resident photographer Patrick Staud. The portraits speak for themselves – the knights are very excited!
