At the age of 20, the Swiss native Thomas Meyer imagined a future in which people could dress differently, with pieces that evoke positive emotions and are affordable to many. Alexander STRAULINO c/o SHOTVIEW photographed the German rock band TOCOTRONIC for SPEX magazine. Tocotronic is looking back for the future. Die Unendlichkeit, or infinity, is not a wounded contemporary escape into individuality, but instead researches the past on behalf of the collective: a timeless autobiographical album and a perfect expression of style for the retrospective in all moods. Tocotronic is a German rock band from Hamburg, which was founded in the mid-1990s. The band name comes from a Japanese game console called Tricotronic, a predecessor of the Game Boy.
