Ramona Reuter : foil fencing superstar Peter Joppich, Guerlain beauty advertorial with photographer Rafaela Pröll for 1ST magazine, COCOON mag and JEWEL cover spread

German foil fencing superstar Peter Joppich struck a pose for Michael Bader’s camera. GoSee member RAMONA REUTER created out the sporty and stylish looks in post-production on location.

Peter was the single world champion in 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He won the title for the first time as a 21-year old in Havana and he gained his fourth and temporarily last single world championship title in Paris in 2010.

At the 2013 European championship in Zagreb he fought his way to the top – despite an ankle injury – and ended up winning a gold medal. He defeated the Russian defending champion Alexei Tscheremissinow with a score of 15:11 during the gripping finale and thus won his first continental single medal.

Vienna based photographer RAFAELA PRÖLL snapped a sensual beauty advertorial in and around an inviting looking pool for Guerlain and FIRST magazine. Ramona was once again in charge of all post-production work.

We also present an editorial for COCOON magazine. The photographer for this production was Johannes Graf.

And last but not least, we have a spread for JEWEL magazine for you: Rafaela Pröll once again photographed the cover story and Ramona carried out the post-production.

About Michael Philipp Bader

Michael Baders photographic focus is on portraits and in the sphere of sport, placing athletes and their sport-specific movements in aesthetic surroundings. In this harsh and super fast-paced environment he has managed to create iconic and special settings, staging athletes in the studio as well as on location. Using a unique interpay of light and color, lines and forms, playing with perspectives and expectations. Michael manages to create beauty and sense of close comradeship where pain, exhaustion and absolute body control reign. Treating every sport as an art in its own right, he creates an aesthetic language for each of them, working the concept from the inside out, thereby truly revealing the intricacies of each sport and its protagonists. Michael’s work is characterised by precision, accuracy, revealing both intrinsic beauty and raw emotion. It is at once strong while retaining essential elements of softness.
