The OAKLEY project was a creative collaboration between director & photographer Kolja Eckert and recom Berlin. Set against the dramatic landscapes of South Africa, Kolja’s photography merges seamlessly with the retro-futuristic aesthetic of Oakley sunglasses, creating a bold narrative infused with cyberpunk energy.
recom Berlin amplified the visual impact through a vibrant color palette and graphic abstraction, pushing the imagery toward a distinctly stylized and cinematic look. From the final stills, recom Berlin began developing motion assets using a variety of AI tools.
