In March 2012, brothers Manuel and Sascha Lukas as well as David Stieffenhofer formed the band WYOMING. All of their 'Teenage Angst', doubts and fragility is poured by the trio into the band´s crystal clear songs, which are reminiscent of the trembling electro beats of My Vitriol, or the indi-noir sound of Yo La Tengo, and the aloofness of The Whitest Boy Alive. The refers to its music as 'dream/independent pop' and combines in it the sound of space guitars with a generous synthesizer landscape, evocative arrangements with nervous rhythms. The debut album 'Fountain' brings all or it together in a loose concept work. Fashion designer WILLIAM FAN was one of the most convincing newcomers at the Berlin Fashion Week in the Fall/Winter 2015 season. In contrast to the wide spread trend toward artificially damaged look of streetwear among Berlin's newcomers, the young designer (born in 1987) inspires in his first collections with the unusual precision of his cuts, through artisanal finesse as well as with glamorous statements while still maintaining a purist look. The Hanover-born son of Chinese immigrants intuitively blends the expertise of European couturier skills with Asian tradition. Minimalism, a functionality reminiscent of work clothing and playful details intertwine to form a confident synthesis. Conclusion: WILLIAM FAN revives retro-futuristic fashion.
