Lauren Hutton. The American model and film legend Lauren Hutton is the star of the creative collaboration between luxury eyewear label Jacques Marie Mage and Haider Ackermann.
Lauren was photographed for the campaign by Steven Klein under the creative direction of designer Haider Ackermann.
At over 80 years old, Lauren Hutton embodies an authentic, lived-in elegance. The images were deliberately left unretouched. This breaks with the fashion industry's obsession with youth and celebrates aging with pride - a trend often referred to as the "Greynaissance" in the fashion world.
Jacques Marie Mage was founded in 2014 in Los Angeles by French designer Jérôme Jacques Marie Mage. The French native moved to Southern California in the 1990s and worked for many years as a freelance action sports and product designer. He is an obsessive collector of vintage objects and owns over 2,000 historical eyewear models himself. Driven by this passion, he founded JMM - to design eyewear that will last for generations.
The Colombian-born French designer Haider Ackermann is considered a master of the modern silhouette and sensual layering. After stints at heritage brands like Berluti, he was appointed Creative Director of Tom Ford.
The capsule collection featured here – naturally, strictly limited ! – was launched in May 2026. It is based on an extremely elaborate manufacturing process, carried out in Japan, comprising over 300 individual steps and involving nearly 100 artisans.
