Petit Sézane is the children’s and baby collection from the French fashion brand Sézane, catering to ages 0 to 12. The brand is defined by its extensive knitwear, warm color palette, embroidery, and a strong retro vibe.

Like the main brand Sézane—an anagram of founder Morgane Sézalory’s surname and first name—Petit Sézane is owned by Morgane Sézalory. She retains a majority stake in the fashion company she founded. The business is also backed by two prominent financial investors holding minority stakes: Téthys Invest, the investment firm of the billionaire Bettencourt-Meyers family (owners and founders of L'Oréal), and General Atlantic, a US-based private equity firm.

The "drop" system—often referred to by Sézane as a "Rendez-vous"—is central to the brand's success. A core collection featuring the season's essential looks is released four times a year. However, the monthly drops (or "capsules") drive the hype: each month—usually on a Sunday morning or Wednesday evening—a smaller, themed special collection is launched.

These pieces often reflect current trends or stem from exclusive collaborations, such as Petit Sézane. Customers know that popular items—especially the brand's famous knitwear—can sell out within minutes. This penalizes hesitation during online shopping, prompting immediate purchases. The brand explicitly states that it does not hold traditional discount events or end-of-season sales; once an item is gone, it is gone for good.
