Reportage and portrait photographer Lars BORGES c/o EMEIS DEUBEL flew to Singapore and boarded a Hapag-Lloyd cargo ship headed to Shanghai. While onboard, Lars documented the ships' workers on the job, keeping the ship running, managing the cargo and running regular man-overboard drills. Not one to put his camera down, Lars also captured personal images of the epic seascapes from his 20m-high viewpoint and of the crew relaxing in their free time, crooning out karaoke ballads to their fellow shipmates in one of the break rooms.
