The current advertising campaign for the TV magazine HÖRZU once again relies on star appeal. The campaign, titled "Someone who has HÖRZU at home" celebrates the magazine's 80th anniversary in 2026.
The German TV personalities, including our friend Annette Frier, were photographed by Det Kempke, who has been behind the camera for the campaign for ten years.
The client was the Funke Media Group - and the campaign is also being directly managed by the Funke Media Group, in particular by Claudia Sonntag.
The idea behind the campaign: Celebrities declare themselves to be loyal readers of the magazine. The concept has been around since 2013. Alongside Annette Frier, the anniversary season features, among others, Hape Kerkeling (as Horst Schlämmer), Torsten Sträter, Heino Ferch, and Edin Hasanovic.
"HÖRZU is always at the forefront of TV and streaming, offering its readers guidance and exclusive content. This strength is also reflected in the trusted partnerships with the stars of the industry," says Christian Hellmann, HÖRZU Editor-in-Chief.
The campaign visuals will be widely distributed: in numerous magazines and newspapers of the Funke Media Group; as large-format city light posters in major German cities; and in digital formats and on social media. The six new campaign visuals will be displayed on more than 13,500 billboards, in addition to more than 60 print ads. The current campaign has a total media spend of more than five million euros.
