These motifs were created with tongue admittedly in cheek as part of the personal project by the name of ‘New Swiss’, which digital artist Patrick Salonen had the pleasure of realizing together with photographer Michel Jaussi. The symbols of various countries were simply placed into Swiss cities or landscapes.
This project was realized entirely using a drone (completely without the use of AI images) and a 100 MP camera as well as the 3D modeling software Maxon Cinema4D and the Chaos Corona render engine, plus of course a little Adobe Photoshop.
These motifs were on display for the first time in the exhibition photoSCHWEIZ 24 in Zurich this January, 2024.

He works as an independent photographer since 1992 after his school and professional education. Very soon he achieved his first successes in the car photography for Mercedes-Benz. His passion is the photography of open and wide landscapes. His work achievements, including for advertising campaigns, have repeatedly attracted the attention of specialists. He regularly realizes free work on various subjects. His new series on renewable energies have already found impressive recognition.
