Common Era, London : 'Birduals' Projekt für DLTD-SCENES, 'Freezing Flowers', OFFF's 'Let´s Feed the Future Anual Book', ROYAL BLISS by COCA COLA, Whatever It Takes x Nike, In the World of Play-Doh für DDB Paris

COMMON ERA präsentiert auf GoSee 'Birduals' - eine Zusammenarbeit von Serial Cut und Still-Liferin Paloma Rincón. Zu sehen sind ausgestopfte Vögel in einem grafischen Umfeld. "The animals depict the duality of life and death. Their bright feathers and proud poses reveal an unreal sense of vitality and lightness, whereas the copper portion, a consequence of trespassing the golden ring, shows a static figure evoking a heavy copper statue. The three stuffed animals used in this project died of natural causes and were handled with love and care," so die Fotografin über ihr aktuellstes Projekt, das bei DLTD-SCENES veröffentlicht wurde.

'I am a Madrid based photographer working worldwide, from commercial assignments for big companies to more experimental and personal projects. My images showcase interesting worlds where different languages blend together inside fine and detailed graphic compositions. With an accurate use of technique, my dynamic still lifes play with reality, where the beauty of handcraft recovers its magic. '

"It was a honour to be invited to collaborate in OFFF´s Let´s Feed the Future Anual Book amongst many talented artists from around the world.. The proposal was to create a Key Visual representing my first safe shelter, my mother´s womb, and reinterpret this memory. My mother´s belly is the place where my heart first started to beat. In this piece, I wanted to recreate an abstraction of that inner landscape full of textures, liquid and organic shapes in a more graphic way. For this purpose, I explored an ancient bookbinding technique; paper marbling, which is linked to my family bussiness related to book publishing. The image background then, is composed out of floating paint making patterns," so die Fotografin über die Zusammenarbeit.

Ryan EDY c/o COMMON ERA begleitete für NIKE Joslyn Thompson Rule und Matt Rodwell während einer Training Session bei 'Whatever It Takes' in Shoreditch, dem London Flagship Store der Fitness-Kette mit Filialen in Hong Kong und Dubai.

"Inspired by the latest Adidas Originals collection and feeling a bit nostalgic, Matt spent a day in the studio shooting these retro looks…" COMMON ERA präsentiert uns hier bei GoSee das aktuelle Projekt von Matt Stansfield.

"Summer has officially arrived in London and while everyone is out in their local pub garden, Ben MONK has been shooting some cold and refreshing cocktails…" Das freshe Ergebnis zeigt Euch COMMON ERA hier bei GoSee.

COMMON ERA präsentiert Euch hier bei GoSee die liebevoll kreierte Kampagne von Marc Da Cunha Lopes für DDB Paris: "In the World of Play-Doh… nothing is impossible! Marc Da Cunha Lopes has just finished a project of epic proportions with a team of incredible clay model makers. Commissioned by DDB Paris, the campaign has messages for both parents and children, touching on the subjects of nature and tolerance. 'We wanted to show that imagination is limitless. That’s why we made everything for real. The fact that there are rough edges creates more emotion.'  The first visual, showing the ogre and school girl, took four months of work to complete. There are 15,000 blades of grass alone, each sculpted by hand. Even photographing the first set took at least 11 hours of preparation and installation in the studio. The second and third visuals were no less intensive, requiring another six months of work. The giraffe is one metre tall made of more than 500 pieces, and the characters of the birthday scene bring together more than 10,000 elements. All in all, an amazing amount of creativity and effort went into these images. Model making by Natacha Olive de Cherisey, Emmanuel Courteau, Rémi Picard, Marion Dervaux..."

Über common era

common era is an agency that represents a handful of carefully curated visual artists. Photography and image making is our passion — we strive to forge lasting relationships with both our artists and our clients. Along the way, we pride ourselves on strategic representation and career development for our roster while providing full-service support to our clients.

We produce all shoots either in-house or in partnership with trusted local producers depending on the requirements of the job. Our goal is to make sure that everyone goes home happy. By operating on a project-by-project model we can scale up production support as needed and by tapping into our network of global suppliers we ensure a smooth shoot regardless of the location.

We’ve shot cars in sub-zero temperatures in the Austrian Alps, photographed aristocracy in an impressive country estate, snapped celebrities on the streets of London, and even learned the secret behind creating an indoor BBQ without setting off the fire alarm. No project is too big or too small.
