Originally from the Netherlands, interior stylist Carline van Oel has been working in Germany for more than 15 years. Her creative background lies in contemporary dance: as a dancer, she performed internationally and collaborated with artists from a wide range of disciplines. This experience continues to shape her visual language today – marked by a refined sense of balance, composition, and rhythm, paired with a deep affinity for art and space.
After specializing in interior styling for photography at the Artemis Academy in Amsterdam, Carline van Oel moved to Munich in 2010. Since then, she has realized interior projects across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Her work spans styling concepts for photo and video productions, the development of residential and commercial interiors, as well as the curatorial design of exhibitions, showrooms, and trade fair presentations.
Her approach is defined by a thoughtful selection of materials and objects, with great attention to detail. Clean, graphic elements meet playful, eclectic accents – always with the aim of creating visual joy and bringing spaces to life. Rather than treating interiors as isolated settings, Carline van Oel understands them as narrative systems. Her styling supports brand messages, campaigns, showroom concepts, and marketing projects without ever overpowering them. The result are interiors that go beyond aesthetics – spaces that tell stories with calm precision and a strong internal logic.
