Paris-based photographer Xavier Casanueva is now represented by BIRD Production Paris. Originally from Barcelona, Xavier moves effortlessly between fashion and documentary photography, developing a visual language that feels both carefully composed and spontaneously observed.
His portfolio spans fashion editorials, portraiture and still life, all approached with a distinctly cinematic eye. Precise compositions, unexpected perspectives and a refined sense of colour meet subtle gestures and seemingly ordinary moments, giving his images a particular sense of intimacy and depth.
It is this interplay between carefully crafted scenes and observational spontaneity that makes Xavier’s work so compelling. He finds beauty in the everyday as naturally as he does in constructed imagery – understated, atmospheric and never overwhelmed by effects.
