Marcus MÜLLER SARAN took pictures in Madrid, Cologne and Munich for client ADIDAS’ ‘Welcome Mesut to the family' campaign. The occasion was the change from Nike to team Adidas for German top footballer Mesut Özil – with plenty of media attention. A good excuse for ADIDAS to launch a bright green shoe for the pro player.

The portrait photos in line with the campaign, with part of the large ADIDAS family were courtesy of Marcus Müller Saran. And since Mesut signed a multi year contract with the German sports giant, Adidas also put his face on the side of a double-decker bus, which drove through Madrid for two weeks – after which Mesut transferred to England. The guy has got good timing down to a T!

The campaign commercial, titled ‘Welcoming Mesut to the family’ shows the German national team player together with famous footballers such as Bastian Schweinsteiger, Kaka, Philipp Lahm, Manuel Neuer, Zinedine Zidane, Thomas Müller and Marcelo.
