Für sein Personal Project „Soaring Free“ reiste Christian Doppelgatz c/o UPFRONT tief in die Weiten der südafrikanischen Drakensberge, um das Gefühl von Freiheit fotografisch einzufangen. Entstanden sind Bilder voller Energie und Leichtigkeit – vom Ritt über endlose Graslandschaften bis zu intimen Momenten der Verbundenheit zwischen Mensch, Tier und Natur. Szenen am knisternden Lagerfeuer runden die Serie ab und verstärken die Stimmung von Abenteuer, Nähe und ungebändigter Freiheit.
