AC.CESS widmet sich den weniger gefeierten Bereichen der Fashion-Industrie: Accessoires, Behind the Scenes, Fashion und Art greifen ineinander und öffnen neue Perspektiven auf das, was oft im Verborgenen bleibt. Cover 1 zeigt Hollie-May Saker gemeinsam mit Leo the dog als eine zeitgenössische Hommage an Chris von Wangenheim, fotografiert von Kapfhammer mit seinem Gespür für Spannung, Haltung und emotionale Reibung.
Shotview: 'Kapfhammer is a German fashion photographer and director based in Paris. Over the past decade, he has worked with a wide range of artists, brands, and fashion designers. His work provokes on an emotional level and expands on humanistic and social subjects. Making the unseen visible through versatile forms of media is his way of speaking.
The urge to transform the intangible into something material and comprehensible traces back to a life-changing moment in his childhood, when he temporarily lost the ability to speak. Unconsciously, he began to develop another way of expressing what he wanted to show – without words. This marked the beginning of visualizing his inner universe. His work raises questions we should all be asking more often. In his projects, he embraces themes rooted in a deeper, more centered level of life, while subtly embedding seemingly negligible details. These elements form a profound visual language that reflects both his way of creating and his way of thinking.
