The twins ROOYTWINS c/o Severin Wendeler captured the collaboration between the fashion brand KidSuper and Mercedes-Benz. It includes a unique art car and a matching capsule collection from the trendy label.
The custom-built Mercedes-Benz CLA was interpreted by KidSuper founder Colm Dillane as a "superhero-inspired" work of art and spectacularly presented at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the Louvre during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026.
For Colm Dillane, collaboration isn't just a strategy—it's the lifeblood of KidSuper. And this season, it took on a different form. In a show that explores the boundaries between storytelling, fashion, technology, and pure imagination, Dillane unveiled his two-part collaboration with Mercedes-Benz as part of the "Class of Creators"—a car straight out of a child's dream and an equally imaginative capsule collection.
"When we were sketching it, I was like, there's no way they're going to approve of this. It's really cool to work with a company that can actually realize your dreams." Colm Dillane, Founder of KidSuper.
The car features distinctive elements such as turbine-like fins, floating balloons, a robust winch, a rally-inspired roof rack, and patchwork details with KidSuper's signature "kissing face."
After visiting Stuttgart, Colm Dillane incorporated classic design elements from Mercedes-Benz's history, including wheels reminiscent of the 1996 F 200 concept and mirrors nodding to the 300 SL.
In addition to the art car, a 13-piece capsule collection was launched, blending KidSuper's aesthetic with Mercedes-Benz's design-led heritage and including menswear, casual wear, and mechanic-inspired outfits. You can watch 'The Boy Who Jumped the Moon' fashion show here on gosee.news:
