GoSee welcomes NEW entry Stuttgart photographer STEFAN HOHLOCH, specialist in stills, advertising and industry. His clients include agencies such as Wensauer & Partner, Strichpunkt Design, Jung von Matt, Panama, KNSK, Pleon bzw. Robert Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, Zeit .... to name but a few.
As an introduction to his work we present his campaign for 50 JAHRE STIFTUNG WARENTEST. The campaign for this German institution embodies how much the scientists behind the magazine get to the bottom of things. And reveals just how drastic tests on bending and breaking can be. Stefan Hohloch comments to GoSee : "we sawed a washing machine, halved a digital camera and slaughtered a piggy bank. All to bring the truth to the surface.”
This year Stiftung Warentest is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The publication is dedicated to testing out new products on the market and providing an independent quality assessment. The first ever issue had two tests: sewing machines and hand mixers. The magazine was priced at 1.50 Mark with a print run of 210,000. 100,000 issues are sold in newsagents, 600 as subscriptions. As part of the anniversary celebrations you can get the first issue from April 1966 as a free PDF download from the test page. Since its first ever issue the magazine has tested around 90,000 products. test.de//historischer-test
