This summer, Mercedes-Benz opened the next chapter of the “Class of Creators,” bringing bold artistic collaborations that merge automotive innovation with cultural storytelling. SHOTVIEW stylist Peninah Amanda shaped the visual identity of the current KidSuper x Mercedes-Benz collaboration.
During Paris Fashion Week, designer Colm Dillane, the creative mind behind KidSuper, unveiled his custom Mercedes-Benz CLA artwork at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. The imaginative creation – featuring turbine wings, balloons, a rally-style roof rack, and KidSuper’s iconic “Kissing Face” motif – blends playful childhood references with elements of Mercedes-Benz design heritage.
At the same time, the limited Mercedes-Benz x KidSuper capsule collection was introduced. The 13-piece line, available from September, combines KidSuper’s unmistakable style with elements of automotive culture and classic menswear. Jackets, trench coats, trousers, and accessories such as bags and suitcases echo the colors and motifs of the CLA artwork and feature the historic Mercedes-Benz logo. The collaboration aims to showcase creativity beyond the worlds of fashion and automobiles.
'This was such an exciting project to work on, and I’m honestly super proud of how it turned out. For me, it's a great example of how storytelling, boldness, and style can really come together in commercial work' says Peninah Amanda.
