Meike Kenn shot the new brand campaign for IHK Berlin, developed by Scholz & Friends Berlin. Under the claim "Official Supporter of Berlin's Business Community", the campaign positions IHK Berlin as a trusted partner to the city's businesses while putting their personal stories centre stage.
For the campaign, Meike photographed ten entrepreneurs and business owners in their own working environments, including Michael and Phornphilai Näckel (Papaya Restaurants), Tina Brack (The Westin Grand Berlin), Irene Selvanathan (Neurospace), Isabella Steiner (nūchtern / Null Prozent Ventures), Olaf and Björn Höhn (Florida Eiscafé), and Ali Al-Hakim (Boreal Light GmbH).
The imagery combines a documentary-style approach to portrait photography with an approachable visual language, portraying the campaign ambassadors authentically in their everyday professional lives. The photographs are paired with witty headlines inspired by Berlin's straightforward humour, addressing topics such as bureaucracy, the shortage of skilled workers, and starting a business.
