Max von Treu : swimwear fashion shoot for RAMP Style on the Diavolezza glacier, Italian actress Magareth Made for INSTYLE and REISENTHEL 2013 catalogue

Photographer Max VON TREU travelled to the Diavolezza glacier near St. Moritz for RAMP ‘Style’. By the way, Diavolezza is a Rhaeto-Romanic word that means female devil.

He snapped next season’s prettiest swimwear at heights of 3,000 m and freezing temperatures with lots of action and happy energy.

The story was appropriately titled: ‘Wrongly Dressed? Keep Cool!’. We agree that sun and summer, a happy mood and warmth all start in your head.

He produced the INSTYLE shoot with Italian actress and model Magareth Made at Villa Necchi in Milan.

The trendy subject was: purist white from head to toe with pointy high heels, sophisticated bags and luxurious jewellery.

Margareth Tamara Maccarrone is half Egyptian and actually changed her last name, because ‘Maccarrone’ evoked too many pasta connotations for her fellow Italian countrymen. Model says no.

And the photographer completed another shoot for INSTYLE with model Amelie Klever in Munich. The exact location was the middle of the street in the old Schwabing area. As you can see, the subject was street style.

And last but not least, we present a selection of images from Max’s production for the new REISENTHEL 2013 catalogue here on GoSee.

About Max von Treu

Max von Treu has a precise but inquisitive approach to photography. His work has a strong sense of storytelling frequently influenced by cinematic references.

This should come as no surprise as he studied cinematography in London, is still active in the medium and continues to work with moving images alongside his photographic projects.

In his work, Max manages to capture truth and intimate moments which manifest themselves in very graphical, almost painted compositions.

Amongst others he has worked for clients such as Vogue Ukraine, Puss Puss, mytheresa, Marc O Polo, someday, Hugo Boss.
