For MARE Magazine, Mario Wagner c/o 2AGENTEN developed a powerful visual world positioned between research, nature and humanity. In his illustrations, molecular structures, algae, fish and laboratory scenes merge into layered collages that present science not as something abstract, but as atmospheric and tangible.
Based in Berlin, Wagner combines bold graphic shapes, strong color contrasts in violet, turquoise and orange, and clearly reduced figures into a distinctive visual language. Whether addressing dietary supplements, maritime resources or biochemical processes, the imagery moves between microcosm and ocean, between body and environment.
The result is a series of visual spaces that connect information and emotion - precisely composed, visually independent and unmistakably personal. Once again, Mario Wagner demonstrates how illustration can make complex subjects accessible while maintaining strong aesthetic impact.
In addition, he created another cover for 11FREUNDE magazine. The football publication dedicates its latest issue to Austrian football culture and its unique relationship with Germany under the headline: “Austria Again and Again - A Love-Hate Relationship with the Neighbor.”
