For Series Magazine Issue 2, Romain Duquesne photographed model Amedeo Mancini, styled by Rita Zebdi. The series centres on a young fashion aesthetic somewhere between sportswear, deconstruction and subtle provocation.
Statement caps meet cut-up and reconstructed T-shirts, denim and deliberately raw layering. Duquesne works with portraits, clean spaces and strong contrasts – moving from an almost clinical setting to a black backdrop punctuated by a vivid yellow cushion.
The editorial reflects Duquesne’s photographic approach, in which commercial and personal work intersect with themes of irony, tension and absurdity. Born in Belgium and now based in Paris, the photographer has worked for clients including Miu Miu, Lanvin, Paloma Wool, Santangelo and Armani, and is represented in Paris by Bird Production.
