With an eye-catching image campaign, the activists of Radical Daughters are making a statement for better protection against domestic violence. The images for the campaign, titled "I am a Spanish Model," were created by photographer Meike Kenn.
The campaign draws on the so-called "Spanish Model"—a comprehensive approach to combating gender-based violence that combines prevention, protective measures, and consistent prosecution. The initiative aims to promote a similar structure politically in Germany as well.
At the heart of the images is a male model wearing an electronic ankle monitor—a deliberately provocative shift in perspective. While women often have to restrict their freedom of movement, the campaign demands a clear shift in responsibility: It is not the victims who should have to protect themselves, but rather the perpetrators who should be monitored and stopped.

The images appear as large-format out-of-home advertisements, construction fence banners, and social media visuals, accompanying a petition demanding more structural protection from violence and political action. Radkale Töchter is a Berlin-based organization and network project that uses performance art to encourage young people to participate politically and engage in social activism. The initiative was founded in 2019 by performance artist Cesy Leonard (formerly part of the Center for Political Beauty). The current managing director is Josephin Haardt.
