JULIA BLANK shot the latest ABRO bags campaign with model Annika-Marie Leick, who also posed for the autumn shoot. The location was Tagblatt-Turm tower, Stuttgart. The team also comprised stylist Carmen Stahl and hair and make-up artist Rahel Täubert. And this year they also produced a making-of video, which we are looking forward to showing you here on GoSee soon. ABRO make women’s handbags, shoes and other accessories with a special focus on fashion, functionality and quality.
About - Abro was founded by the grandparents of today’s directors back in the 1930’s. They started with a small belt factory in Rodgau and soon supplemented the product range by high quality leather handbags. In the 1950’s the second generation joined abro and contributed to the constant growth of the company. In 1995 Achim and Stefan Bruder – the third generation – took over the management of the company and put even more emphasis on recognizing new trends and designing stylish bags and belts with a distinct feeling for the latest fashion. Today abro produces ladies’ handbags, belts, shoes and other accessories, with a special focus on the combination of fashion, function, and quality. abro.de
I disregard the triumph of comfort – is the mantra of designer LENA, who presents a delicately detailed collection using the finest materials and intelligent cuts. JULIA BLANK captured the new Spring/Summer 2015 Collection by newcomer label LENA in a sunny to cloudy setting. The photographer focused her lens on model Mia, with spring hair and make-up by Kerstin J. Hajdu.
About - Lena The launch of Lena is the response to this basic need for a change, very spontaneously as an autumn winter collection in 2014 and now continuing with our first Spring Summer season. The idea took shape as a collection that was simplified to a wardrobe, in which every piece had to fulfill its specific purpose. Trying to optimize the potential of each design within the limits of the design through deleting unnecessary elements. No decoration, no repetition where not needed, as they can only be signs of aesthetic insecurity. Be purist, but still, never be easy. The need for everything to be just a little too comfortable and easy has been spreading like a disease in our time and may be the actual reason why women stopped dressing. Though we are so much better when we make a little bit of an effort. I disregard the triumph of comfort. lena-collection.tumblr.com
JULIA BLANK created a unique abstract world between fashion and flowers for HUF magazine. Her 'Eblouie' editorial features styling by Irmela Schwengler and hair and make-up by GoSee Premium Member SUZANA SANTALAB. The accompanying mood clip plays to a soundtrack by Reid Willis.
