SHERRI HILL kleidet Hollywood Stars und Celebrities für Auftritte auf dem roten Teppich, darunter Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Carmen Electra und Bella Thorne. Um ihre neue Kollektion in einem Blumenmeer zu präsentieren, entschied sich das Team für Amsterdam und beauftragte JAN RUINARD Production & Location Services in den Niederlanden.
“So… every now and then, you get this client over in your city who makes you smile and realize what a fun job it is to accommodate these people. End of July 2023, I was contacted by the American company Sherri Hill Inc, a globally active company specialized in prom dresses as well as wedding, gala and ball gowns. The info they sent me was brief and to the point : we need a lot of flowers! So, I told them that the dahlia fields would still be in full bloom in Holland in September and that we could hire a professional flower stylist while shooting in the streets of Amsterdam along the canals. Before I knew it, the whole Sherri Hill team flew to Amsterdam from different places in the US, bringing with them three very talented and beautiful models.
And, at the same time, eleven boxes arrived in our warehouse packed with the most amazing gowns I had ever seen! But besides their sheer beauty, they were also quite large – so we couldn’t use normal clothing racks! Which is why one of my assistants built a special construction in the styling room at the hotel using scaffolding pipes so we could hang the dresses on them. We also prepared our motorhomes so we could hang and transport all these wonderful gowns properly. It was so much fun having these nice people over, and it has been a pleasure for me to produce this job. I immediately bought a prom dress myself!”
